C7 Studios brings together 7VEN Productions and Castle Productions. Between us we have directed documentaries for global streaming platforms, shot commercials across continents and flown cameras over coastlines, cities and construction sites.

Paul Suggitt
Founder / Director
Paul is a multi award-winning international film director, producer, screenwriter and broadcaster, and the founder of 7VEN Productions. Since 2010 he has created more than 100 productions, from feature documentaries and true crime to adventure films and commercials.
His documentary Surviving Homelessness won Best Documentary Feature and Best Director at Accord Cine Fest, and his feature documentary work has been released on Amazon Prime Video. Brands including LNER, South Western Railway, Transport for Wales and Middlesbrough FC have trusted him to tell their stories. Paul brings a storyteller's eye to every brief: find the human truth, then make it impossible to look away from.

Jamie Bulman
Founder / Cinematographer and Aerial Lead
Jamie is a filmmaker, producer, editor and CAA licensed drone operator from Redcar. He founded Castle Productions in 2014 and has built it into a full media production company, working with brands and businesses as well as on the sets of feature films, documentaries and television.
He has shot commercial work for brands including Mercedes-Benz, Bombay Sapphire, Pukka Herbs, Fudge and Gym King, and his camera has travelled from Iceland and Morocco to Prague and Gdańsk, shooting travel films, fashion, fitness and training content along the way. Jamie leads our aerial work, combining a cinematographer's sense of composition with the precision that surveying demands.

What does C7 Studios do?
C7 Studios is a full-production video company. We make online commercials, social media content and strategy, brand films and documentary-style stories, plus aerial drone cinematography and aerial surveying. We handle everything from the first idea and script to filming, editing, colour grading, sound and delivery for every platform.
Where are you based, and do you travel?
We are based in Teesside in the North East of England and film right across the UK and internationally. Our founders have shot on location all over the world, from Iceland and Morocco to across Europe.
Who is behind C7 Studios?
C7 Studios was founded by Paul Suggitt, a multi award-winning film director and founder of 7VEN Productions, and Jamie Bulman, a filmmaker, producer and CAA licensed drone operator who founded Castle Productions in Redcar. They are supported by a team of specialist film creatives.
How much does a video cost?
Every project is quoted on its scope. We work with budgets from under £2,500 for focused social content up to large multi-day campaigns, and you get a clear fixed quote before anything is booked.
Can you create our social media content every month?
Yes. We plan your content pillars and calendar, shoot in batches on monthly content days, and deliver platform-ready edits for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn, with reporting on what is working.
Are your drone pilots licensed?
Yes. Our aerial work is flown under CAA licensed drone operation, with flight planning and risk assessment handled by us, for both cinematic filming and aerial surveys such as site mapping, roof inspections and construction progress records.
How long does a project take?
It depends on the scope. Social content can be turned around within days of a shoot, while commercials and brand films usually take a few weeks from first call to final delivery. We agree the timeline with you at the planning stage.
